Caron Stéphane


Stéphane is a researcher in robot learning. He investigates questions at the interface of motion control and computer vision, particularly for perceptive locomotion. He received the M.Sc. in computer science from École Normale Supérieure (ENS-PSL) in 2012, and the Ph.D. in robotics from the University of Tokyo in 2016 before joining CNRS as chargé de recherche in 2017. He has also served as locomotion team lead at ANYbotics AG, a startup company from ETH Zürich. Stéphane is an advocate of open-source and open-hardware for robotics education and research.
